Adrienne Steele

Adrienne Steele is the founder and CEO of ASC Consultants and has spent the last 18 years in all areas of food service operations. Her experience as an Executive Research and Development Chef and Pastry Chef lead to Director of Product and Menu Development and Operations VP, managing compliance, system integration and certifications in and around HACCP, HARP-C and GFSI environments. Adrienne’s experience with GFSI (SQF, BRC, ISO), USDA, Farm Compliance (Global GAP, Primus GFS) and GMP has given her an understanding of both large and small compliance, training and documentation required in order to create a strong compliance program for brandowners as well as facilities. Adrienne has provided development, oversight, consulting and training on all manufacturing and resources needed to assure the highest quality outcome while maintaining Quality Assurance protocol and created systems to assure best practices within organizations such as Chick Fil-A, Vive Organic, Health-Ade Kombucha, Costco, Copra, Suja Juice, Sonoma Brands and Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce.

Carlos Lawrence

Carlos Lawrence is a partner in ASC Consultants and has been a founder and consultant on numerous for profit and non-profit enterprises in the food and service industry. A career of organization and food safety/compliance work in the natural and organic sectors throughout the supply chain and world markets has given Carlos an appreciation for simple and effective management systems to control operations. He has worked on data and development systems from the farm to retail food processing industries. Companies that have contracted or used control or data systems designed during his career include, Espresso Royale (Financial Controls), Organic Certifiers (organic certification), Kodak (product tracking) and Growers First (indigenous farmer development) and all of ASC Consultants’ Clients such as Di Bella Coffee (Gloria Jeans/RFG), Health Ade Kombucha and Chick Fil-A (Traceback, inventory management and QA Tie-back). Carlos’ interest in coffee stemmed from his love of coffee, understanding the needs of coffee growers and agricultural production, purchasing, roasting and making coffee that led to his founding a 24 unit coffeehouse chain around college campuses.


Stephanie Jacquez

Stephanie is an experienced consulting professional utilizing her focused Master’s Degree in Dairy Products Technology and has been with ASC since 2019. Over ten years as a successful Quality program initiator, history establishing quality systems in the food and beverage industry. Stephanie has facilitated development and training of new quality assurance teams and oversees efficiency within all clients for food and beverage. Skilled in team building, implementing and executing GFSI protocol, Stephanie is also a certified internal auditor and got her start with high risk USDA processing categories including ice cream, cheese and dairy products. Keen understanding of sanitary design, sanitation validation, lean manufacturing, and both GFSI and GMP landscapes for international imports and suppliers.


Kristina Gomez

Kristina graduated from California State University Los Angeles in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She has been working in the Food Safety, Microbiology, and Environmental industries for over 7 years. Kristina has been a part of the ASC team since 2020 as a QA/Food Safety Consultant and Administration. She oversees the food safety system of some of our clients and implement/train the quality departments. Helping our clients prepare for organic certification or GMP audits. She also help our clients find potential candidates and trained them when they are hired. She is HACCP and PCQI certified. Her experience in a laboratory science has also played a major role as she assists in the education of clients on laboratory setups, practices and testing protocols in order for our clients to better understand that landscape.


Alexa Bleth

Alexa Bleth is a content marketing developer at ASC Consultants who specializes is lead generation and research behind the scenes. She takes on administrative roles when the team requires extra support. During her continued education at the University of Colorado she works part time until she graduates with her bachelor’s in business administration. Prior to joining ASC, she honed her skills as a marketing manager working for another successful business consulting company. Team oriented and Focused on client needs.
